iScream Productions announced today the launch of Above the Pants clothing line. Bringing together clothing and the love of zombies to create original horror themed art for everyone to wear for lovers of horror everywhere, specially for zombies!
When asked about this new launch iScream Productions founder Stuart Conover said, “There are quite a few horror apparel shops out there. In the grand scheme of things there is a large focus on a certain style of horror shirt. We want to take that style and add a bit of a twist. We’re making horror shirts by horror fans for horror fans so want to make something that’ll stand out and be different but still something you’ll enjoy!

Recently screened at Comic-Con AME has released the first trailer for The Walking Dead which is set to debut October 2010.

Dennis Hopper(74), known and loved for his acting especially in Land of the Dead, passed away 9am Saturday morning after a decade long fight with prostate cancer.

Hopper, best known for films like Apocalypse Now, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, Super Mario Bros., and Land of the Dead, revealed he had caner in October of 2009. His health slowly declined as seen in a frail-looking Hopper making an appearing in March of 2010 for the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This week I’m featuring the book Kings of the Dead by Tony Faville. Kings of the Dead takes you on an action packed journey from the beginning of the world wide zombie outbreak, through the life the new world, and survival-the ultimate goal. Through this extremely well written journey you go through what the main character does as well as think which gives you insight as to his stability as well as to his motives. Their are times while reading that you feel you are going through all of this right there with the main character.

Keeping you on the end of your seat through the whole book Tony Faville’s Kings of the Dead is a must read for any zombie fan!

Immediately following the events of “Diary of the Dead,” “Survival of the Dead,” is the 6th film from George A. Romero to look at a world where Humans are in the minority and the zombies rule.

Off the coast of Delaware sits the cozy Plum Island where two families are locked in a struggle for power, as it has been for generations. The O’Flynn’s, headed by patriarch Patrick O’Flynn (Kenneth Welsh) approach the zombie plague with a shoot-to-kill attitude. The Muldoons, headed by Shamus Muldoon (Richard Fitzpatrick), feel that the zombies should be quarantined and kept ‘alive,’ in hopes that a solution will someday be found.

The O’Flynn’s, who are clearly outnumbered, are forced to exile Patrick by boat to the mainland, where he meets up with a band of soldiers, headed by Guardsman Sarge (Alan Van Sprang). They join forces and return to the island, to find that the zombie plague has fully gripped the divided community.

As the battle between humans and zombies escalates, the master filmmaker continues to reinvent the modern horror genre with wicked humor and pointed social commentary.
