Dennis Hopper(74), known and loved for his acting especially in Land of the Dead, passed away 9am Saturday morning after a decade long fight with prostate cancer.

Hopper, best known for films like Apocalypse Now, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, Super Mario Bros., and Land of the Dead, revealed he had caner in October of 2009. His health slowly declined as seen in a frail-looking Hopper making an appearing in March of 2010 for the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

AttackoftheZombie.com sends our condolences to the Hopper family. While we will miss him, his legacy shines on.
